You will need:
A Yoga Mat
A blanket for your baby to lie on
A couple of favourite toys/rattles for distraction
Any feeding or changing items you might need.
Mum & Baby Yoga
Join us every Monday morning from 10:30–11:30 AM at St. Fintan’s Parish Centre, Sutton, Dublin 13, for a nurturing and supportive Mum & Baby Yoga class. Designed for new mums and their little ones, this class helps you recover, bond, and connect with others in a warm, welcoming space.
Suitable from six weeks postpartum (or ten weeks after a C-section), the class focuses on rebuilding core and pelvic floor strength, stabilizing the pelvis, and relieving back pain. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation techniques, you’ll regain strength, boost energy, and relieve stress—all while engaging with your baby.
Most poses can be done solo or with your baby, and we incorporate gentle baby yoga stretches, songs, and rhymes to delight and stimulate your little one. The class is completely baby-led, so you’re free to feed, change, and soothe as needed. Crying and baby sounds are welcome—it’s all part of the experience!
Beyond yoga, this class is a wonderful way to meet other new mums who understand the joys and challenges of this stage. Many mums stay after class for coffee and a chat, forming lasting friendships and a supportive network. I feel so lucky to be part of this beautiful community and can’t wait to welcome you and your baby!
